Shift IDs of Selected Controls (Panel Edit)
This option is used to change the ID numbers of the selected controls. The purpose is to prepare controls for insertion into another editor where there will be an ID conflict. Not only are the ID number adjusted but also any Update Id references are also modified to retain integrity.
Directions:
To shift the ID number of the selected controls:
| 1. | Choose Editor/Panel Edit to place the Editor in Panel Edit mode |
| 2. | Select the controls that require their IDs to be adjusted |
| 3. | Right click and choose Editor Control Parameters/IDs/Shift IDs of Selected Controls from the popup menu |
| 4. | Use the displayed dialog to enter an offset value for the controls Ids |
| 5. | Press the OK button to proceed with the modification |
| 6. | Panel Edit will shift the ID number of each selected control by the input amount |
